The Navigation Search in D365 FO currently works as a filter with a predefined option begins with. That makes it difficult to find the needed forms/menus. It would be better to be able to search engine to work as "contains" filter. Example: If I need to find menu All Purchase orders now I have to search by All purchase... I would like to be able to find the necessary selection by using "purchase orders" selection only.

It would be great if we could change the pre-defined selection of Equals to Contains as the default. Typically users have to always change to Contains anyway, so being able to set this as the default would be ideal.

That is a great idea. Additionally, if at all possible, it would be best if one can define the searching type - contains, begins with, ends with, etc.

Absolutely agree. If I am looking for all pages that contain "Resources", I have to type exactly "Resources", as it doesn't appear under "Resource", or "Res".
Yet, leave it working with half words - for example "res li" finds "Resources List".
