The current Dynamics 365 (Online) behavior does not implement changing the default view or filtering on related records for fields on the business process flow.
As a result, the displayed views and input candidate records are inconsistent between the fields on the form and the fields on the business process flow.
We believe that aligning the fields on the form with the fields on the business process flow will make it more efficient and convenient for users to enter data.
