I do believe this is a great idea and should have more upvotes to enable this functionality. I have had this request multiple times and have always reverted back to creating a power automate action.

Please consider adding a grid control (Timeline) serves as a container for a Timeline on a single Form, as you can do across multiple Forms. Thus there can be multiple Timeline (Subgrid) placed, each with a defined activity type. It would allow system admins and customizers to add multiple Timelines to a single form. Separate for "Notes", separate for Phone calls, and/or their combinations. Each separate Timeline as a Subgrid would allow admins and customizers to define a group of activities that Timeline (form of a Subgrid) serves. Also, defining a timeline control with sorting attributes would allow the user to quick create a note on one place, and search for a list of phonecalls/e-mail related on another place (subgrids beside each other.)
