Current functionality will fail to fulfill a line if only partial quantity is available. As an example if the customer ordered a quantity of 10 and only were available, the whole line will fail to fulfill and the customer will receive nothing.

It is a common scenario in a B2B transaction to allow the customer to order and short ship them if not all quantity could be fulfilled. However, when utilizing FRO, this scenario is not possible if it fails the inventory check.

The request is to adjust the fulfillment order line to the available quantity for that line when creating the fulfillment order.

This feature would significantly support key business scenarios and, in my view, aligns with standard functionality—similar to the existing partial fulfillment capability available in D365 Finance and Operations.
