When adding a customer with a standard dimension to for example a job, the function CopyDefaultDimensionsFromCustomer used by the system will always owewrite existing dimensions. This will be a problem when diemsnions have been added before the customer is validated.
For example if I have added a sales person with a standard diemnsions before the customer. I then asume this value will remain evan after I validate the customer.
As a customer I should not have to double check witch dimensions are stilll valid depending on what order I have added my values.

Instead of overwriting existing values the function CopyDefaultDimensionsFromCustomer should add dimensions values or give a warning in case thes is a conflict with the dimensions.

I was finally able to get my desired results by using dimension priority. After much testing and very little support from Microsoft , I’ve determined that when a dimension is “removed” from the project …. Or the customers business posting group etc…. . , it allows the reading if the default dimensions at the final WIP calculations (depending on what you set as priority etc).

Not on roadmap?! This essentially is a bug.

Fully agree! This function doesn't make sense. We developed templated for jobs to setup default dimensions and limit the mistakes from users but the selection of the customer in the job cards deletes the dimension setup for the job even though there were no dimensions setup on the customer.
