An error is presented when trying to post an inter-company timesheet when a valid posting profile exists at the category group level. The payroll side of the posting is set at the category group level and posts correctly. The current code makes you configure a posting profile for an All/All relationship in order for the posting to work. The way this is behaving is not consistent with the way posting profiles work within D365FO. I would understand an error if there wasn’t a valid posting profile in place, but it disregards the posting profile that has been configured. This does not behave in the way that standard posting profiles should. The change should be to ensure that when posting an intercompany timesheet with a category where a valid posting profile is set up for the category or category group, it should use that posting profile and NOT require an All/All configuration.
