I have had multiple requests from customers to export their sales invoice information by State for tax purposes in the USA. I find that including a "Sales by State" report would be beneficial to most clients using the Sales module in Business Central. Another solution would be to add the State information to the Post Sales Invoices/Posted Sales Credit Memo List Pages in Business Central by default. This would avoid the need to have a customization built to include this information on the list pages, which already allow for easy export and filtering.
