In scenarios where goods are received from a vendor but with qty discrepancies and vendor cannot fulfill the pending qty. It would be beneficial to provide an ability to cancel the delivery remainder of a PO/ PO lines from MPOS. Providing this ability at MPOS will also help in delegating responsibility to Stores (where goods are received) on when to cancel the remaining qty(delivery remainder. Delivery remainder cancellations are not available as a periodic task in D365, hence it requires manual effort to cancel the lines individually.

Thanks Holly. Looking forward to see this released. We currently have customized this and identified technical challenges related to standard behavior. Scenario below
We have enabled automatic delivery reminder cancellation on a PO in MPOS. The cancellation happens when user click on "Commit", since store user would have entered actual quantities that are received for posting. During this process if ever user by mistake enters excess QTY than ordered QTY for a specific PO line (With over delivery percentage disabled) and click on commit. MPOs throws an error mentioning that one of the lines has over delivery and posts the rest of the lines that are fine.
The issue here is, since auto cancellation is enabled the line with over delivery error is cancelled completely. This causes inventory discrepancies as the store user doesn't even know about the details of the line that has this error followed by complete cancellation of the line.
It would be great if improvements are made in the below areas
1. Over delivery warnings should be shown before committing the PO receipt and stop the commit operation completely until the errors are fixed by the user.
2. Currently the over delivery warning doesn't specify the details of the lines that have this issue. If this is improved user can easily identify the lines with the errors and correct accordingly.

Thank you for this idea. The feature to support for closing lines in purchase orders during receiving in POS is planned to release in 10.0.15 monthly update. BTW, since 10.0.10 release, we have stopped adding new features to the Picking and receiving operation. Any new features that are related to in-store inventory receipt and shipment against purchase orders or transfer orders will be added to the Inbound Inventory and Outbound Inventory operations. If you haven't yet, we recommend you to start developing a strategy for moving to the new operations.
