In scenarios where goods are received from a vendor but with qty discrepancies and vendor cannot fulfill the pending qty. It would be beneficial to provide an ability to cancel the delivery remainder of a PO/ PO lines from MPOS. Providing this ability at MPOS will also help in delegating responsibility to Stores (where goods are received) on when to cancel the remaining qty(delivery remainder. Delivery remainder cancellations are not available as a periodic task in D365, hence it requires manual effort to cancel the lines individually.

Thank you for this idea. The feature to support for closing lines in purchase orders during receiving in POS is planned to release in 10.0.15 monthly update. BTW, since 10.0.10 release, we have stopped adding new features to the Picking and receiving operation. Any new features that are related to in-store inventory receipt and shipment against purchase orders or transfer orders will be added to the Inbound Inventory and Outbound Inventory operations. If you haven't yet, we recommend you to start developing a strategy for moving to the new operations.
