"Currently, we are using requisition worksheet to replenish inventory on hand. We have chosen reorder policy maximum qty, with reorder point, maximum quantity, minimum order quantity, and order multiple all used. The maximum quantity is 1 qty more than reorder point, and minimum order quantity and order multiple are the same. What we have noticed is that when the inventory on hand is greater than zero for various items, the reorder policy works as expected, accounting for inventory on open orders as well as lead times. However, we are currently encountering issues when the inventory on hand is a negative amount (less than zero). Now, when using the requisition worksheet, the system seems to override the reorder policy set in place and orders first for the negative quantity, ignoring lead times and reorder amounts. Is there any way around this?"
-In other words, it would be nice if the system had a function in say inventory setup or requisition worksheet function that would allow user to disregard negative inventory and order accordingly to the reorder terms and policy already set in place
