In Company 1 (selling company), there is project 1A. While in company 2 (manufacturing) there is Project 2B. For Project 1A, a project sales order to final customer can be created. Then using this project sales order 1A, an intercompany Purchase order is created to company 2. the created Intercompany Sales Order in company 2 is not linked to any project. It would be nice to have an automatic project creation (or allocation to project 2B for this SO into an existing project) in company 2. This could be driven by a parameter in intercompany settings.

Given how organisations operates across multiple legal entities with complex trading relationships this is a much needed feature.
Customers are blown away by the intercompany trading feature in D365 , enabling project ID's for this will add so much value to feature.
