I wholeheartedly agree! The new filter interface is way too complicated for a basic end user that just wants to filter certain things at certain times. I'm an advanced user and just trying to figure out how to filter on blanks was a headache! Previously if the user wanted to view only records from VA and MD, they would just check those state boxes in the drop down. Now they have to go to the filter, select Equals, Contains or other and type "MD", the select OR then repeat for "VA". It is way to labor intensive.
...Can't you just write a workflow? Check if Phone Call = completed and (end-user specified) Follow-up Date contains data If Yes-->Create new Phone Call If No-->Stop as canceled

Thanks for your suggestion. This has been in our radar among other features that would streamline admin options. Since we are on lock for the current release this would be something we would have to look at in our next one. Once again, thank you for your suggestion.
Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion, and we will consider this in our roadmap
Are you kidding?? It was important enough to add a UI refresh button to all other subgrids in the views, there were sufficient use cases to ensure the refresh() method could be called on subgrid control using the Xrm.Page, but you don't want to include this type of functionality on the brand new composite control you added as a new feature in this version? I highly disagree with the "not a common use case" reply provided as it is valid enough for you to include it in other similar controls. Furthermore, it seems like you actually have an internal refresh() method for these since when creating activities from the context of the record the system is smart enough to go an update, so why can't I let the user do this when he wants to like I can with other subgrids?
Thank you for your feedback. This is not in our immediate roadmap, however, we are tracking it and if we indeed get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in future. Workflow is the most configurable way to achieve this functionality.
