Microsoft Dynamics 365
I am not sure why this return of deprecated feature has not received more votes? What Accountant/Finance Manager in a company that justifies D365FO does not run a series of financial reports, reviews and analyses them, then sends them out as a pack after any corrections have been made? A bread and butter monthly task which is laborious and inefficient without the feature, especially when multiple subsidiaries are involved.
I can only assume that this ideas forum is poorly supported and/or experienced users have given up in frustration at Microsoft's lack of understanding what their customers actually do with the product & its features.
At minimum, they need to list the features deprecated between Management Reporter 2012 and D365 Financial Reports and the add-on.
Yes, it is very frustrating to have so many MR 2012 features deprecated without any plans to reinstate them. More commonly used and useful features like Report Groups are sitting there in the add-on but don't work. Furthermore there is no list of the deprecated features so AX upgraders have to go thru a frustrating, lengthy & expensive process of trial and error to find out the bad news. Terrible customer experience Microsoft!
Although you can achieve this by nesting a product in its own production order, the classification of the order as a rework is helpful for shop planning, notification and costing.
This is a major issue and a functionality update will be very useful
If you're implementing that feature, pls also add the preheader field to toe email templates
Isn't this standard Service Contract prepaid functionality? You invoice yearly (for instance) and then run the Post Prepaid Entries routine.
Completely agree, we've carried out this amendment for several customers, you also need to ensure that the date fields on the Service Contract are rolled back to the previous dates. IE update Next/Last Invoice Date etc
Agree..we should not leave this crucial and sensitive checkbox to employee as they may tend to forget or overlook the small field which will create big impact. Any new address or contact information created by employee should have private flag enabled by default.
I would prefer to fill "to date" with any other date in future too.
It would be so great.
I can't agree the rejection, cause is this function still available, also for purchase processes?
I can't find it.
Looking forward :)
