This idea is aimed for a particular functionality that has already exists in D365 CRM. in which you can pin recently opened items, particularly forms with filters/views.


For example, when accessing a certain form with a filtered view, it will appear in the "Recently opened" tab. but the aim here is to pin those views to be directly accessible from the user dashboard, like in the following article:Pinning Records in Dynamics 365 CRM in Unified Interface [Quick Tip] | D365 Demystified


the impact this will deliver is a much smoother user experience. so users will be able to access their most used views directly by clicking on their pinned items it will direct them to the form with their view loaded.
