As for support ticket Tracking ID #2602171410002829 when entering lines using the Tab key on the keyboard in the GL journal once selecting the transaction type the system works fine for the first 20-30 lines but then starts to add the financial dimension dashes for all types of transactions instead of clearing the dashes when selecting all types of transactions.

For example selecting Customer, Vendor, Bank, Project or Fixed Assets the account key does not show an empty box to start to type in but gives the Ledger dashes --- so when entering the string searches for the account number it does not find anything as the string has the dashes.

This is highly annoying and users complain a lot about this, even though it is simple enough to clear the dashes when entering in the account it slows the Accountants down and the user experience is a bad one.

This should be a very easy fix.
