Suggestion:

I would like to suggest to allow for assignment of main accounts to account structures by account type (field MainAccountType) and category on top of the existing filter by number range of main accounts.

Problem:

The present setup allows for filtering by number range of main accounts only. This results in a complex set of account structures.

Examples for drivers for such complexity as follows.

A) statutory charts of accounts across jurisdictions significantly differ in numbering, e.g. France, Germany, Poland

B) balance sheet accounts within the P&L number range, e.g. unrealized gain/loss

Benefit:

Filtering by account type would significantly streamline both setup as well as maintenance of account structures.
