In D365CE/CRM the Address entity provides a way to handle multiple addresses associated with each Account/Contact.  At first sight this provides a way to handle multi-site/location/facitly scenarios but long standing limitations with D365CE/CRM prevent adding new relationships between Address and any other entity.  These limitations have caused may customisers and ISVs to use hierachical Accounts/Contacts to handle these scenarios.  This comes with it's own drawbacks and is often a source of additional user confusion.

Microsoft have even persisted this practice with add-ons they have aquired (for example with Field Service) rather than correct the underlying limitation with the product.  If D365CE/CRM is to be the database for CDS isn't it time this was finally fixed properly?  We should not have to customise to handle multiple sites/facilities/locations - it should be available OotB
