Request to add a capability that will help in planning the impact of a engineering change notice for planning production using MRP. The idea is to consider the effectivity date of an item number (part of the ECN) so that when a finished good item is forward scheduled, its start date would consider the alignment to the updated effectivity date of parts in the bill of material. The objective being that when production would start on the FG item, all its prior subassemblies or parts would be of the correct version.
