The ability to alter the fields in the Close Opportunity form is only available in UCI, not in Legacy. The product team added in this functionality to UCI in response to strong customer demand, and lots of customers still use the legacy version and need this functionality. The ability to customize the fields within the Close Opportunity form should be implemented in the legacy version as well.
