If you e.g. only have Danish zip codes in the system, but would like to send an order to e.g. Norway. When I enter Country I choose NO (Norway) enter the city STAVANGER and the the zip code 4000.

Just when I enter the zip code 4000 it looks up the Danish zip code and change country to DK and city to ROSKILDE.

Then I can change the country to NO again (and in version 19.0 it does not delete city and zip if I set the new setting "Require Country/Region Code in Address" under "General Ledger Setup") and the the city again.

If I enter country NO and take a look up at the zip code field there are no zip codes to choose, and that should also be the result when I enter 4000 for Norway as long as I do not have any zip codes registered for Norway.
If you are not aware you can easily send goods to Roskilde instead of Stavanger.

I think this is an urgent matter and error. Please, vote it up.

This is a bit related to this idea that has been implementet in version 19: https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=d2d81152-d59c-e911-80e7-0003ff688f4e

We are experiencing the same problem. An example is we have a customer in Denmark with a zip code of 60437. This zip code is in the zip code table (table #225) for the US for Kinsman IL & changes the fields in the customer card accordingly. The user cannot override these fields. they must make an entry in the zip code table for 60437 in Denmark. The programming must be changed that if the zip + country code are not found in the zip code table, ignore what's in the table, do not change any of the fields in the customer card & let the user continue with entry in the customer card.
