Recently, we had to upgrade a customer's PSA solution from v2 to v3. And during this upgrade, the solution fails since the data in the org could be invalid from PSA's standpoint.
Post running Project Service Rule Set in Analysis Job, results are generated and then we manually correct this data.
For doing this, Microsoft Support's involvement is necessary.

This is something that could be done by System Administrators also. I'm proposing that this solution and guidelines should be publicly available so that we don't have to approach Microsoft Support and create a lot of overhead for this process.

This will save a lot of upgrade overhead time and Admins can take care of this well before hand before realizing the reason for failure and then trying to hurriedly upgrade at the last moment.
