In a model driven app we have the possibility to customize the command bar within the App Designer and use Power Fx to run functions without having to use javascript.

My idea is, that we also can run Power Automate flows in model-driven apps, just like we do in Canvas Apps with the .Run(parameters) function. This would bring model-driven apps and Canvas Apps closer together and it may also render the legacy dataverse connector (when a record is selected) obsolete.

For this of course a user must add a Power Automate Flow with a Power App trigger to their model-driven app to then use it in the Power Fx command, just like it works in Canvas Apps today.
