Excel is always going to be a core reporting tool for most departments and Dynamic Excel's have been the heart of this so replacing them with an simlar easy capability is critical.

Possible Solution- XRM Toolbox has a tool called 'Power Query (M) Builder' that allows you to export a fetch XML query that can be pasted straight into a blank PowerQuery in Excel and mirrors the exact same functionality of a Dynamic Excel without the install component.

If the Dynamic Excel button could export an Excel sheet with a query embeded automatically based on the view in context then that would be incredible.

All the tools are there but they currently require a dev/admin to piece them together, taking away the huge value of self serve data.
