Present Day, a store sale can be made from a recalled transaction but it will be processed at the date stamp of the suspend. For example, today's date is 12/14. If I recall a sale from 12/7, the sale will be processed as a 12/7 sale on 12/14. This disrupts our external reporting and also places the sale in sales history as a week earlier.
We ask for an exploration on the effort it will take to get this logic corrected. Our Management believes sales should always be processed as the day money is tendered and the date that the sale is finalized.

Hitachi, our business partner, stated that suspended transactions are handled exactly the way we describe. This behavior is out of the box Microsoft. They discussed this issue with Microsoft already and this has not changed as of the last time they worked on this about a year ago.
