This will prevent that the user will not forget to post the revaluation journal which will keep the value in the item ledger transactions / Item STD cost 8 Inventory and GL Inventory value in line.
We even had the issue that by doing a batch posting at the end of the day, the item ledger entry value was posted twice for the same item.
