Regarding the Focused View: There is a lot of potential for helping users capitalize more on this feature if we could allow them to retain the filters they have set on the originating view. For instance, if a user has already isolated records they need to do work on, then it would be a tremendous benefit to switch to Focused View and let them knock the updates out one-by-one.
