We aim to introduce a two-step process for sending E-Documents, allowing them to be sent separately after the sales invoice has been posted. Currently, this is not possible, and the goal is to give users more control by enabling E-Document transmission only after confirming the accuracy of the invoice. This approach helps avoid the complexities of canceling documents once they’ve been sent and aligns with user feedback requesting greater oversight before dispatching e-invoices to the network.
At present, the Automatic processing field in the Importing FastTab offers a Yes/No option to determine whether document processing should begin automatically upon import—supporting either full automation or manual review before creating purchase documents.
We propose introducing a similar configuration in the Exporting FastTab, specifically for sales. The new Automatic processing field would also offer Yes/No options. By default, this would be set to Yes to maintain compatibility with existing workflows. However, if set to No, the system would generate the E-Document but defer sending it until it is manually reprocessed, allowing users to review and confirm before transmission through the configured channels.
