If a committed order line is overdue and this is known to the purchasing department. (this reads the purchase order confirmations) That the delivery date in the sales order is then automatically adjusted after a new date.
We have promised to deliver on February 20th.
But the item will not be available until March 1, and the customer's warehouse is open on Wednesday, which is when the delivery date is March 3.
This way you can inform the customer much better and faster about the status of the order. Now you always have to run an ATP per order to calculate a new delivery time.
This would really be an addition!
Thanks for the effort.
