The implementation of Constituency Codes feels like it is tied to the wrong place. Currently, any donation to the Campaign contributes to the calculations for a particular constituency code. This feels wrong. Campaigns are why we are raising money - eg Building a church spire. Appeals are when & in some respects how we raise money eg Christmas Appeal, Bequestor Drive or a Membership Drive. The funds raised then contribute to the higher campaign. In the latter example, only those that donated to the Membership Drive should get the Constituency Code of Member. The membership itself is not why we are raising money. Constituency Codes should be linkable to an appeal, and perhaps even a package. Just my humble opinion.
