Example item A:

  • Item Card:
  • PCS is used as Base Unit of Measure with Quantity Rounding Precision = 1
  • The Unit of Measure BOX consists of 12 PCS
  • BOX is used as Purchase Unit of Measure
  • There is no current inventory
  • Released Sales Order for 15 PCS

When running the Planning Worksheet, it will suggest to purchase 1,25 boxes of item A.

As it is only possible to buy whole boxes, the purchase agent must manually correct the Requisition Line to 2 boxes of Item A.

This is an issue when trying to automate the general supply chain flow, especially between multiple group companies.

I have exactly the same issue. We should be able to define the rounding precision for all the units of measure defined and not only for the base unit of measure.

Did you use BOX as the purchasing unit of measure or set the minimum order size?
