Situation: we have custom fields on the Form Settings pane and a Business Rule that sets some fields as business required, depending on a switch/slider. Currently when the Business Rule is fired and the fields are set as business required, the UI does not show this (eg with a red star or a red line). When the user clicks Save, a generic error message appears, not pointing to the specific fields.
Idea: clearly mark mandatory fields and adjust the error message.
Comments
I recently opened a support ticket for this issue (as well as hide/show logic not rendering either) and support reported that this is due to the current form renderer not supporting business rules. I was told to use custom handlers on the form canvas to achieve the desired functionality. If MSFT is not going to enhance the form renderer to support business rules, there should be more clear warning or blocking when building business rules that knowingly won't be supported.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not on our roadmap, but we are tracking it, and with more feedback and support from the community we may consider it in the future. Sincerely, Petr Jantac, Microsoft
