I recently raised a ticket with Dynamics support as our customisations to the Opportunity Close form were not being applied in our app.
After some back-and-forth we realised that this was because I was using a custom app, not the OOB Sales Hub app. This was stated in the documentation after reading closely, however it is somewhat strange behaviour as I've never seen another entity behave this way.
I would really like it if customisations could be applied to the form when used in a custom app, as we have to either accept the current layout, or completely rebuild our app on top of the Sales Hub app which is not feasible at this time.
