When you create or revise an inspection in D365 Field Service today, there are no decimal precision settings and it auto-defaults to two decimal places. Many field organizations rely on more precise values and calculations, and will need to extend to three or four (or more) decimal places.

This is a really important feature. It is wider than just decimal points. We need validation.
At the moment there is no validation of the values, so an engineer can enter any number say 100.1 whereas in real life the potential value is limited to a range say -20 to +10 and has to be entered to 3 decimal places. Having no validation, renders the inspection functionality useless under these circumstances. We need this validation for Numbers. Range & precision.
We should also have validation for Text but this is very much less important.
