When using inventory journal approval workflows, the time of journal creation, journal approval through workflow approval and actual posting can be time consuming. The inventory journal is posted with the date initially created with. The date cannot be adjusted for an approved journal, leading to inaccurate inventory transactions. For inventory the accuracy of posting with the correct date is critical.

Suggestion: Implement similar functionality to automatically adjust the posting date in vendor invoice (AP parameters > Ledger and sales tax > Adjust invoice posting date automatically) for the inventory journal, ideally per journal name.
