On Premises has functionality to allow - 'Scheduled Reports' but the online version does not. Since the USP of Online version is ability to use cloud features, it would be suitable to have reports scheduled at the azure server level or via flows(there is an existing solution but it is third party, would be suitable if Microsoft itself creates it
