When we upgraded our ERP from version 20 to version 23, this feature has been actived by default:

Subledger transfer to General Ledger performance optimization

All our journal entries changed the column for "Created by" for "admin", and now we have to click for every voucher on "General" to see the real user who creates the voucher.

This is a huge problem for us, becuase, as a pharma business we are audited very closely, and if we need to export data from "overview tab" we will sending wrong information for our SOX COMPLIANCE and GMP auditors. We are public company listed on Nasdaq.

In the mean time, we just turned off this feature (Subledger transfer to General Ledger performance optimization) in order to recover the real user name.

The workaround provided by Microsoft Support didn´t work for us because we have to travel module by module in order to gather all vouchers transactions generated on all the ERP.

Please take this idea as an formal complaint from our company, if you are going to improve the product, please take care first on not to mess up current functional behavior with "new stuff".
