There is the functionality of updating a tracking dimension groups and a reservation hierarchy for released products developed in KB 4041101. this is the option, needed to mitigate the risk of human errors and as well support customers with changes of tracking, due to developments of regulation or market requirements - e.g. a product, which is not batch tracked, should be batch controlled. Currently this functionality, does not support standard cost type items, which should not be excluded.
