If you disable the Automatic Cost Posting in Inventory Setup, you will be prompted to create two job queues, Codeunit 2846 and Report 795. If you configure them to run in the background, the file always needs to be printed and cannot be saved on the server or customer side. As that report can easily exceed 100 pages, not all customers want it to be printed out of the box and would prefer it to be saved on the machine. Out of the box, there is no similar option.
