As per the policy we need to calculate the depreciation on an asset for the complete financial year in which we acquire the asset regardless of it acquisition month. Currently D365 Fixed asset module don't have this option we need to go to the place in service date and insert the date from which we need to calculate the depreciation.

Secondly if an asset is disposed off on the any date of the financials year than we didn't charge any depreciation on the disposal year,

if asset have any depreciation on that financials year in which it is disposed off than system should have option to first reverse that depreciation after that disposed the asset.
