When time is posted on a timesheet, the description pulls through to the Job Lines, and then to the Sales Invoice as a standard, but the date of the hours spent is never seen anywhere on the Sales Invoice.


This means that a Customer can see the hours, but nowhere are we showing the Customer for what date the hours were. So in a consulting type of engagement related to a Job, there is no way to show the Customer on the Invoice for what date the hours billed were. Simply adding this information will give the customer the ability to see what date the hours were spent.


Easiest way to implement this is to make the date a part of the default Description on the Job Journal Lines before they are posted. The user can always change this, or make it a setting, but that way the information makes it to the Sales Invoice.
