In Dynamics 365 Finance, financial tags are supported and correctly populated for most Fixed Asset postings, such as Acquisition and Depreciation. However, when posting Fixed Asset Disposal – Scrap transactions, financial tags entered on the Fixed Asset journal are not carried over to the resulting voucher lines.

Current behavior

• Financial tags are present on:
• Fixed Asset Acquisition vouchers
• Fixed Asset Depreciation vouchers
• Financial tags are missing on:
• Disposal – Scrap vouchers generated from the same journal process

Expected behavior Financial tags entered on Fixed Asset journals should be persisted and applied consistently across all Fixed Asset transaction types, including Disposal – Scrap, in the same way they are for Acquisition and Depreciation.

Saving and propagating financial tag values should not depend on the asset transaction type.

Suggested enhancement Align the accounting logic for Fixed Asset Disposal – Scrap transactions with other Fixed Asset postings so that financial tag values are preserved and populated on the resulting voucher lines.
