When a file is deleted through Out-of-box SharePoint integration, it is a hard delete. This seems a bit reckless, from an admin perspective.
Might be worth to do a soft-delete so that SharePoint / Office365 Admins can recover the deleted file from SharePoint recycle bin, if required.
Additionally, would expect SharePoint integration to follow the delete policies defined by SharePoint / O365 admin.
