Parameter "Allow depreciation when placed in service and disposal are in the same fiscal year" needs to be activated on each single fixed asset book. This is the only parameter, which cannot be activated either on Fixed Asset Parameter form, Fixed Asset book setup or Fixed Asset group setup.

Therefore it should be placed on the Fixed Asset Parameter form to let the user activate it that it can be defaulted for all fixed assets.
