Two requests:

1. When entering a sales order for an assembly item, automatically default the Qty. to Assembly to Order based on what is actually available to make. What is actually available to make should not include future purchase orders, transfers, etc.
2. This is the more important request. Currently one can create a Warehouse Pick for a Sales Order containing an Assembly Order which leads to a partial pick. In other words, if some of the components are on hand, those will be suggested to pick and the ones that are not on hand are not available to pick. Because the shippers may not know every component that goes into the assembly, this has caused shipments to go out with partial assemblies.
