With the new release, a good function was provided. It allows to create several opportunity lines in one step, it's called add products.
It would be very good to have this option at quotes and sales orders as well. Some of our customers don't use opportunities, but start with sales orders.

Enhanced add-product preview is now available on Quotes, Orders and Invoices as well.
