In order to better manage progress, it would be of great value to be able to insert and define a milestone status and a business area per table in the configuration worksheet.

When implementing Business Central the configuration worksheet is always used as the roadmap for the implementation as it contain all tables in scope, listed and grouped in a way that respects the table relations.

Milestones used are typically "awaiting customer, awaiting migration template, ready for test, ready for UAT) but they are typically unique per phase. One set is used during configuration and scoping and another set of milestones are used when testing and conducting final migration during go-live.

Defining and inserting milestones per table would make it extremely effective to report progress and general readynes to project members by exporting the configuration worksheet and pivoting data.

The current status field on in the configuration worksheet allows for status types IN PROGRESS, COMPLETED, IGNORED, BLANK but as already mentioned this does not reflect the actual life cycles data goes through during an implementation.

Also, having a field for defining Business Area per table would be a great improvement as this would then make it possible to get an instant status per data entity per business are and life cycle.

Currently there is a "RESPONSIBLE USER" indicating "who" but it is more relevant to know which business area the tables relates to as it typically is more relevant to know which business area is lacking behind rather than a specific user.
