We sell a group of products that have very low inventory numbers at a time, so as they sell out and are replaced, they are coming on and off our site frequently.

Due to the high number of skus this applies to, it's unmanageable for us to manually redirect the product page every time the product is removed, and then remove the redirect once the product comes back on the site.

This results in a high number of 404 errors us; negatively impacting SEO.

Ideally, we would like a way to automatically redirect product pages when the product is removed from our site (For example, to the category page or homepage), and also to have the redirect removed when the product becomes available to order again.
