When the Default Item Quantity field is toggled "on", users can no longer rely on adding items using the "Description" field in sales document lines because document total calculations are interrupted. Users must use the "No." field in the sales document lines to add items. Conversely, when the Default Item Quantity field is toggled "off", users can use both the "No." and "Description" fields in the sales document lines without interfering with document total calculations.
