I'd like to suggest that the conditional content feature available for emails in Real-Time Marketing be added to Outbound Marketing. In particular, the ability to build a condition on segment membership would add lots of value!


Dynamic content (as described here: Add dynamic content to email messages (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Learn) does offer some possibilities, but unfortunately conditional statements cannot include segment membership or other types of "interactions" data. The conditional content from Real-Time Marketing (How to use conditional content (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Learn) is definitely more powerful, and easier to use as it is a "no-code" feature.


Our clients were very disappointed to hear that there is no simple way to display a section of an email only to recipients who have made a submission in our preference centre, for example. We need to create multiple versions of the same email to send to different segments, creating additional work and breaking up our email analytics into parts that then need to be recombined.
