Purchasing add-on environment before base environment

We would like to purchase a Tier 4 or 5 environment before purchasing a base environment because the customer want to verify that the performance of the D365 system will meet their requirements, in order to make an informed decision before purchasing the D365 system.

This is a very reasonable request. Given that the customer is about to pay NCE which can't be redeem.
