The Business Central/Outlook integration is currently somewhat limited, only offering users the ability to create new contacts in Business Central from Outlook emails; and create new documents from Outlook to Business Central. The code for this functionality is currently managed from the Office Add-In Management page in BC, where only the two Add-In Manifests for Contact Insights and Document View exist.

Tasks are an out of the box, shared function that exists in both Outlook as well as Business Central, but are currently mutually exclusive of one another since no Add-In Manifest exists in Business Central to link the two together.
Create an Add-in Manifest that gives Office 365 users the ability to create and assign Tasks in Outlook that are then created and assigned to the corresponding user in Business Central. The Task(s) that get created should be factored into the number of "Pending User Tasks" on the user's Role Center tile for Pending User Tasks
